Date Hajime, a 17 year old archaeologist-in-training, has discovered that his father is missing while out on an expedition, and sets out to find him inside a temple his father was last seen in. By accident, he discovers an old artifact that somehow took him back to the late 17th century of Kanto history, in the feudal state before Kanto was even discovered. While on a quest to find his father, he assists the Kasai kingdom during the wars using his tactics, cunning and experiences, but it was more than what he bargained for when he meets Gasai Rin, a dirty-mouthed, blood-thirsty female warrior who is assigned to be his bodyguard. The path ahead has obstacles, betrayals and mysteries for him, and no strategy nor experience can help him now, and fate decides to test him with hard trials, heartbreak, and fragile trust. Will he find his father? Will he pass the test? And will his name be wrote down in history? (I know, sucky summary, might change it later) Rated PG for vulgar language and minor violence with a touch of minor gore.

As I write this letter to you, all I have to say is... I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I lied to all three of you. Living a life of lies has taught me that it comes with a price, and now I'm paying it. My name IS Rena Deveraux; that wasn't a lie. But I never wanted to be a Ranger... That's not why I was at the Ranger School. I am so, so sorry that I lied to you, but the truth is... I'm a thief. And you...you were my assignment, and I was to think of you as nothing more than that. It wasn't personal, I promise you. It was just business. I thought I could outrun the law my whole life and never get caught. Never did I once think that the law applied to me, or that my actions would catch up to me one day. It never crossed my mind...not even once. I was so confident, which made my downfall inevitable. I left my back turned for one second and I lost it all. No words can describe the feeling I get when I look at your face... That look of pain, and sadness... Your eyes are filled with nothing but hate and disdain when they meet my gaze. Honestly, I'm surprised that you haven't killed me for what I've done to you. I'm afraid this is the end, and I will never see you again. You can hate me for the rest of your life. I understand... What I did to you is unforgivable, and I don't deserve your forgiveness. I don't deserve to see your smile ever again. My biggest regret is that I will never get to properly say good-bye to you. So, I must do it in this letter. Good-bye, my Prince Charming. I will never forget you. Take care of Rhythimi and Isaac for me, and please...apologize to them on my behalf, since I can't do it myself. Oh, and one more thing, Keith. Assuming that you didn't just tear this letter up upon receiving it, I just wanted to say... I've told you a lot of lies since the moment we first met... But my feelings for you were never one of them. {Pokémon Ranger Shadows of Almia fanfiction; cover art was just photoshopped by me}

(**Currently in the process of being edited AS OF OCT 2023 lol IDK how long this will take to rework but bear with me**) Set between books 4&5 and written only while book 4 was out, so please forgive any inaccuracies. --- Pyrrhia: a vast island divided between seven warring dragon tribes. Little do they know that the sightings of strange, tribe-less dragons that are so often dismissed as hallucinations or tricks of shadow aren't signs of insanity after all... Not far from the coasts of Pyrrhia lies the land of Grinnen: a small, rocky island with snowy mountains, sandy dunes, heat-seared cliffs, volcanoes...and dragons. No, not SandWings, SkyWings, NightWings or any other Pyrrhian tribes...these are the tribes of Grinnen. The once peaceful land is in danger. A war is in the making after a prejudiced Queen, discovering her treasury raided, promptly accuses an innocent tribe of theft and launches an attack. While fleeing for her life, a young dragoness who has been given a special mission meets an unexpected ally, and together, they set off in search of a missing dragon. They find secrets buried deep underground, and discover that surviving on their own may not be as easy as they thought... The Wings of Fire series belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is only a fanfiction. (Grinnen and its tribes are free to use, for anyone who is wondering.)

Look, I'm going to tell you this honestly. Somewhere out there in this floating sphere of green and blue, there's a person who acts just like you. (Credit to @MysteriousCurl for the cover idea!) - Updated every other Saturday - They appeared when we least expected. The Passing of Moons had cast a shadow over everything in sight, and dark clouds fanned out like wings on the horizon, a terrifying winged beast seeking to devour the sun as it grew dim. When the darkness hit, and the clouds were illuminated with a dying red light, we swore there was a moment when the clouds seemed almost alive; eyes glowing like fiery coals. We knew it was them by then. There was a wail, somewhere in the crowd, and panic settled in. There were cries, screams of terror, but the flames surrounded us before we had the chance to run. The fire had appeared out of nowhere and we could see nothing other than the light of the flame, our fear was drowned out by the crackling and spitting as the flames pursued us. One by one, we fell, swallowed away by the growing blaze. Only the air was frigid, and the fire was cold - ice cold. Freezing burns covered our ears and legs and flanks, and the drowning cries were accompanied by a sickening shatter of something that definitely wasn't ice. Before we knew, we were dying. A painless, horrifying death, and we couldn't shake the thought that we had it all wrong. We weren't going to be rescued. There was no miracle, no shining hope within our midst. This was the end. Who could save us now? ---Reviews--- This is really well written! And so mysterious, I really want to know what happens next! Not to mention the prophecy is fantastic. ~Sparrowheart838 This- This is so- Just- AMAZING SO GOOD I LOVE IT I'm in love with the prophecy Seriously, I just love it allll! ~RiverShadow This is absolutely beautiful, powerful, chilling and tense. Your writing is amazing and I cannot tell you how much I am in awe of this book. ~Cloudfall_Sweg [MAY CONTAIN GROTESQUE IMAGERY]
