Alexander Kirk is the first to notice. Mitch and Scott have been best friends for years, and they thought that nothing could change their friendship. But as life goes on and they're forced to make some changes, they realize that something is different..and maybe is too late to do anything.

Mitch Grassi mostly joins the cheerleading squad because his best friend, Kirstie Maldonado, wants him to. Maybe he also kinda joins because then he'll get to ogle Scott Hoying during practice, but he's not about to admit that.

Scott Hoying is a senior in high school and undoubtedly a jerk; a big one in fact. His parents are quite well known, and that is part of the reason why Scott is the way he is; popular and big headed. Mitch Grassi, on the other hand is quite the opposite. He is a junior, one year younger than Scott and is quiet and creative. He likes to keep to himself and never causes trouble. Scott couldn't care less about anyone but himself, but when the two clash and a secret about each of the young men is revealed, their worlds are turned upside down.

Scott and Mitch have been friends since they were young, but that's all about to change.. - After Mitch cut off a toxic relationship he formed some major confidence issues, but Scott had been too busy with others to think much of it. - When Scott comes back to reality, he and Mitch have to face some hardships and trust one another to gain serendipity again. - T.W.: E.D., anxiety, depression, self image issues, etc.

Mitch lived alone. He had the same routine everyday that made him feel stable. That all changed when a new face moved into the apartment above his own.

This is a bit of a challenge for myself . One shots that must be below 2000 words. Not sure how often it will be updated or how good it will be - just something fun to try and push myself.
