Everyone knew the rule, but many people still broke it. The rule was simple, and many said, that the rule was good. The rule was that you were only allowed one child per family, and it was a necessary law too. With oxygen supplies slowly depleting, a smaller population was necessary. But the question was, what were you supposed to do with all the rule-breakers children? And that question was how The Elimination Trials began.

On a prom night Emma and her friends school is shut down because of a disease that is spreading around the world, or so they think. Emma and her friends escape the lockdown of the school and search for friends. On their way they find friends that went to their school and they journey to find the answer that they have all been looking for.

Peter Parker has always loved the Amazing Spider-Man movies. He's always identified a great deal with the web-slinger. But lately, he's had weird dreams in which he himself actually is Spider-Man, and the girl he likes, Gwen Stacy, is the girl he tries and fails to save. And, to make matters even weirder, an accident involving Tony Stark's science fair project leads to Peter displaying an ability he never even knew he had. That's when the agents of SHIELD come in. Peter Parker's no longer the only one who's been bitten by a genetically-engineered spider. Norman Osborn has improved his formula and used not only himself, but also Harry and Gwen, as guinea pigs.
