His hot breath was fanning my face ,his face was so dangerously close to mine , his eyes were red from anger ,narrowing ever so infinitesimally on me and holding me rooted in place and When I thought that he couldn't get any closer he took a step forward, towering over me .I think we had a long staring contest because what he said next snapped me back to reality "Because Elizabeth you just have gotten yourself into so much trouble and you're not even aware of it ,so pray to god she'll be fine because if not, you really have no idea of what I have in store for you ,you'll actually regret ever stepping foot in this house ."

"Cay, will you look at me?" I turned around and lifted my eyes to look into his. His arms were braced on the counter and he was looking at me sideways. The glow of the light coming from the living room and into the kitchen gave his face an otherworldly impression. I waited for him to continue. He closed his eyes and sighed, "Cay... Just so you know... I wanted to do it. Right there, a while ago. But you know why I couldn't, and why we shouldn't." There was a pain in my chest at his words.
