A sinister Problem has occurred in London: all nature of ghosts, haunts and spectres are appearing throughout the city, and they aren't exactly friendly. Only young people have the psychic abilities required to see-and eradicate-these unnatural foes. Many different Detection Agencies have cropped up to handle the dangerous work, and they are in fierce competition for business. Skyler Monez teams up with her friend, Anthony Lockwood. Along with Lucy Carlyle and George Cubbins, the four go on to solve the mysteries of certain cases, and maybe even find the Source of the Problem itself.

Lockwood and Company have a new case. The dreadful, horrid hall. Together Lucy, Lockwood, George, Holly, Flo, and Kipps have to face this horrific case.
