There comes a point in your life when you realize that the safe choices won't make you happy. No matter how many times you've heard, "Good things will come to those who wait", you know that waiting is no longer the answer. Caroline knew that if she wanted a future for herself and her loved ones, she'd have to make a dangerous decision. One that she might not come back from as the same person she left as. This required a sacrifice she didn't want to make, but if it meant the happiness of her best friends it was worth anything. Will going to the past save Caroline's future?

Tyler just left Caroline and Elena went back to the Salvatore House. All she has Is her and her studies with noone else. Is this Too much for her? Is a special someone going to help her?

After being tortured Caroline turns her humanity off. However after Klaus demands the presence of the Mystic Falls gang to come to New Orleans to bring back Kol. Unbeknown to Klaus, Marcel hopes to regain the kingdom taken from him. Turning back Caroline humanity, bringing back Kol and still surviving the impending war, the Mystic Falls crew will see that their troubles back home were certainly no match for what they've stumbled upon.

New Orleans was an escape from Mystic Falls for me. I expected to see the culture and music but since then all I've seen are images of a summer I don't remember. I've made enemies here, the King, Marcel. I've made friends with witches. I've attempted to understand the 'knocked up werewolf.' And then theirs Klaus but you'll just have to read my story to find out. Like I said, this was supposed to be my getaway but no one told me that this was The Dark Side of New Orleans.
