And every knows it, except for them. _____ Lucy rolls over in bed to stare at the boy beside her. He's quiet, If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's asleep. He's never this silent. Her lip quivers. "Natsu?" She asks softly. He hums in response. As he peaks one of his eyes open, he whispers "yeah Luce?" There was concern in his voice. She bet he could smell the tears in her eyes. "Natsu, I.." She began, although, she was too afraid to really explain how she felt after her recent kidnapping attempt. All she could feel was a sense of impending doom, worry, and despair. Her mind had been racing for hours. 'What would they have done to me?' she thought. Natsu moved closer and hugged her, pressing her face to his chest as he pet her hair and rubbed her back simultaneously. Although, since they were lying together, they were really just cuddling. He'd never admit that though. Natsu broke the momentary spell of silence. He began, "Luce... I don't know what to say. I know you were scared earlier. But that's why I'm here. I'll always save you Luce. Always." He held her a little tighter. Almost, afraid to let go of her it seemed. She pulled away a bit, looking up at him with tears in her eyes. "Always?" "Always." She stuck her hand out and he smiled brightly, wrapping his pinky around hers, sealing a pinky promise. Which Natsu swore he'd never break.

A story centered around a separate cast of characters, but in the Fairy Tail universe. All of these characters are original ones created by myself and my friends. I hope you enjoy what I decide to put together with this.

Last time on Young Years... Two year old Natsu met and fell for newborn Lucy The story consisted of life of not only them but their parents everyday lives. We ended Past Arc: part 1 with Grandina's mother Porlyusica who is a wiccan requested Grandina to temporarily move in with her to Fiore. Grandina and Natsu along with the blue cat Happy leave their home in Hargeon. Natsu is elated since, Lucy lives in Magnolia that's in the city of Fiore. Now reunited come along and enjoy Natsu and Lucy's journey as they are no longer babies but kids. What new adventures and tribulations await these young children? Will they survive them or will they be torn apart?

Lucy 17yrs. old and works at a cosplay-cafe, and attends Crocus College Prep Academy (CCPA). She's what you call "Perfect" she's intelligent, beautiful and top of her class Natsu 21yrs. old and Business and Law major at Crocus University. He plans on taking over his family's company "Dragneel Industries" after college graduation. One day Lucy's working and Natsu comes in and the following week he becomes a regular- he sits at the same table orders the same thing and always requests lucy to be his waitress, they never have conversations and only make brief eye contact sometimes. Could this be love or just another customer. Disclaimer, I do not own Fairy Tail Hiro Mashima does. This is also my very first nalu fan fiction so sorry if its really bad.
