Culture tells us to follow the crowd, but this is the opposite of what God tells us to do. God calls young adults to follow Him, to be an example in faith, speech, action, love for God, and purity of soul and body (1 Tim 4:12.) Even though we have fail this task daily, our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus did not fail it. It's time for young men and women to take a stand up against society and prove to the world Christ is worth the cost of being a Christian.

Book one of the girls of Faith series. Aubri is a teen girl living in the "ghetto" part of an Arizona city. Luckily she gets bussed to the richer part of town to go to school, but Shes been labelled a long with all the mexicans that go to school as poor gang bangers who only cause trouble. Aubri hates the label and doesn't understand that just because he parents are immigrants, doesn't make her any different. God made all people equal right? Aubri never gets a break with the racial slurs and the assumptions, until a guy, seems to be oblivious to what everyone else says about her and her friends. He just sees the person she is on the inside.

We all struggle everyday. We're human. All I'm trying to do is make a light in this dark world for Jesus. Its all for Him and His glory. I started writing this book when i was 14 years old. It was January of 2014 and I'm now 16 so sorry if its a bit immature in the beginning. :)) Have a blessed day! ~Kayla

"Hey Mark!" I said, walking to the stage. I walked up the stairs carefully. After all, I was wearing wedges and preferred to stay out out the hospital. "Hey Macie," he replied. "Could you get the songs on the stands for me?" "Sure," I said, taking the two folders out of his backpack. I opened each one and had started placing the music on the stands when I heard the door open. I expected it to be either Carly, Denver or Amanda, but when I turned around, I saw that it was my mother. Her hair was wild and her eyes frightened as she opened her mouth to speak. "Macie, Ben, Brittany and Tristan have just been in a what-could-be-fatal car crash." - Macie is your average teenage girl. Popular, Pretty, Perfect. Everyone at St. Phyllis Prep. knows who she is. She manages to befriend the most popular boy in the school, Andrew. When a new kid enrols to St Phyllis, sharing his love of Christ openly, she has no clue what has happened, or who this guy, Jesus, is! ( Is currently in the process of re-editing so some chapters may not be grammatically perfect)
