A crown prince born in a time of peace; brought up by his single mother queen Ara after the early death of her husband King Horace. Aside from his good looks and pure heart (which sometimes causes him to be a bit naive) he has nothing else going for him. Except maybe an age old family secret . However now that his throne and kingdom is threatened by his evil uncle, he has to grow up fast. Meet Mara a slave girl rescued by bandits of Qulin at a young age. She lives a rough life and learns recklessness and sword fighting from them. She finally escapes to follow her dream; joining the royal army. Nothing can stop her...not even the gender barrier. Unlikely relationships are formed and unconventional revelations are made as these two embark on their separate adventures... or is it the same one?

"I was broken. Nothing, no one could fix me. Until you came into my life again. I wish I had gone with you that day instead of him. Because, now I can't imagine how I spent the previous years of my life without you by my side. You are my savior. You showed me that its okay to be broken and you showed me that I wasn't alone. You were with me. i love you for that. But I hate that I love you. I was never good with love. I'm scared that one day I'll wake up without you by my side. One day you will realize that you are better off without me and I don't want that day to come. Not now, not ever. I love you too much to let you go. I finally have a place in this world and that is next to you. You once said, 'Our mistakes compliment each other.' Truer words than these were never said before. We are both broken and incomplete but together, we're whole and we're fixed. We might be too bad for the others, but we are good for each other. They say all good things come to an end, but I'm bad and so are you. Together, we are horrible. But that just means that we're inevitable. You are mine and I promise to forever be yours." If I would describe Keith Yorkley in three words, I would say... Hot... Gorgeous... And Trouble... On the first day I came here to this stupid boarding school, I noticed two guys. One with jet black hair, electric blue eyes and striking personality as he was slacking off in front of the dean. I mean who slacks off in front of the dean?! You would, if you want to be expelled that is. But this guy cared the least about how he acted, which I found so charmingly hot in a way. Keith... And the other guy had blond hair that was spiked up like a shark fin, blue eyes and had a player aura around him as he flirted with me heavily which I found interestingly sexy because I'm a player myself. Kent... As time passed by, the school was not so bad as I thought it would be, specially when both Ks were trying so hard to win my heart and I think I'm falling for one of them. It was Rory’s Grandma that made the two predictions; the day of her own death, and the day Rory would die. Nobody really takes Grandma seriously – that is, until she suddenly passes away on the exact date she’s predicted. In a fit of panic, Rory decides to embark on a bizarre, crazed mission to live life to the full. Together with her friends, she throws the rulebook out of the window and tastes what the world has to offer; excessively wild nights, malicious revenge plans, and arrogant, beautiful boys. Rory thinks she has nothing to lose. But her family is slowly starting to crumble, and her friends are getting sick of her reckless attitude. There’s only so long she can party before the terror of her deathday rolls around. Rory has to choose between bowing out disgracefully, with her name seared into the town’s memory – or fighting the out-of-control girl she’s become before it’s too late.

***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain. *** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
