Lee Seung-hyun (Hangul: 이승현; born December 12, 1990), better known by his stage name Seungri (Hangul: 승리, Victory) and V.I when performing in Japan, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur. In the mid-2000s, Seungri rose to prominence as one of three vocalists and youngest member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang under YG Entertainment, which eventually became one of the best-selling digital group of all-time in Asia and one of the best-selling boy bands in the world. With the release of the group's second studio album Remember (2008), in which the second single released, "Strong Baby", was performed solely by Seungri, he began to adopt a more mature image as an artist.

Big Bang (Korean: 빅뱅; often stylized as BIGBANG) is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. Consisting of members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, the group officially debuted on August 19, 2006. Predominantly a hip hop group, their debut was a moderate success, with their first self-titled Korean album selling 48,000 copies. Their breakthrough came with the release of their first extended play, Always (2007), which included the number one song "Lies" (Korean: 거짓말; Revised Romanization: Geojitmal). The song went on to top major Korean music charts for a record-breaking seven consecutive weeks,[3] and won the group the Song of the Year award at the 9th Mnet Korean Music Festival

Kang Dae-seong (born April 26, 1989),better known by his stage names Daesung and D-Lite, is a South Korean singer, actor, and television host. Daesung made his musical debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang. He has released a number of solo singles in South Korea under the group's record label YG Entertainment, including "솜사탕" ("Cotton Candy") and "Baby Don't Cry" which peaked at #1 and #3 on South Korea's Gaon Music Chart, respectively. Since 2013, Daesung has also released one single and three solo albums in Japan under YGEX. His first album, D'scover, peaked at #2 on the Japanese Oricon Albums Daily and Weekly Charts. His second and third albums, D'slove and Delight (Japanese:『でぃらいと』), peaked at #1 on the Oricon Albums Daily Chart. Following the success of his albums, Daesung has completed several concert tours throughout Japan.

Dong Young-bae (born 18 May 1988), better known by his stage name Taeyang (meaning Sun) or Sol, is a South Korean singer-songwriter. After appearing in Jinusean's music video "A-yo", Taeyang began training under YG Entertainment at the age of 12. After six years of training, he made his debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang. His second studio album Rise peaked at #112 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, becoming the highest ranking album by a Korean soloist to enter the chart.[2][3] The album's title track "Eyes, Nose, Lips" peaked at #1 on Billboard K-pop Hot 100 Chart, giving him his first solo number one single on that chart.

After 6 years as a trainee under the record label YG Entertainment, G-Dragon officially debuted as a member of the South Korean group Big Bang. G-Dragon has been involved with writing, composing, and producing many of Big Bang's hit tracks, including "Lies", "Last Farewell", and "Haru Haru."

Choi Seung-hyun (Hangul: 최승현, born November 4, 1987),better known by his stage name T.O.P, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang and has also participated in various dramas and films, such as I Am Sam, Iris, Nineteen, 71: Into the Fire, Commitment and Tazza: The Hidden Card. Jeff Benjamin of Billboard K-Town columnist noted that T.O.P is well known for his low-bass timbre rapping.
