Phil doesn't talks. Well, not anymore. The last time he said something, was when he didn't hate himself. And that was a long time ago. But now, everything is different. Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. Dan's the new kid in school, expelled from his last for threatening a teacher. Dan's family hoping this will be a new start, don't know their son's biggest secret. Phil is completely the opposite from Dan, never gets in trouble, quiet and doesn't have any friends. Trying to double depression and his grades, how will he deal with a new kid in his class? Will all his secrets be revealed? And will the bullying stop? Dan crosses Phil on his first day, and things don't start in the best way. Phil doesn't need help, but Dan is adamant he helps the boy through his years at college. What will happen when things turn upside-down for the both of them? Everything was like a puzzle that had yet to be put together. It was like all the pieces were there, but you didn't know where to connect them and how they fit in. Dan was the puzzle, and I wanted to know how to solve it.

Phil is an orphan, bullied, and living alone with no friends in a home. He does his best not to let that fact that no one seems to care about him get to him, but it's getting harder. Then a nice couple start to take interest in him, and it turns out they have a son his age, Daniel, but the love they begin to share isn't of a brotherly nature...

Phil doesn't have a best friend in his life. That is, until Dan turns up at his school. They become close and Phil finds out that Dan has a twin brother, but hates to talk about him. It's not until Phil comes over to Dan's house that he finds out why.

Dan is forced into going to a summer camp in the country side of Britain, his mother feels Dan is irresponsible, and would only be getting drunk and fucking about if he stayed at home. WRITTEN 2013. (I have since, gone through and attempted to improve on it).
