Taking place at the Bates Motel, Violet Bates and her family recently buy a motel just on the coast of Oregon. Word gets out around White Pine Bay that the motel is now vacant. Things are going well for the Bates, business and all, but when Violet starts fraternizing with a mysterious man that lurks around the motel...
She lies awake and her mind floats off into a separate universe. A universe where she can be with him and him alone, until the end of time...
This very short story, is sinister and has a few surprises. You'll find it swift entertaining and begging for more in this two part epic (and yes I do know the cover is a poster from a movie, I know it's from a movie and I give them credit till I can make my own cover.........oh geez.............)
