The elite created a tiny world where the offspring of the first to be shrunken down live in a mostly artificial world oblivious to the existence of the real slowly dying planet and the poor who can't afford to enter. Some people living inside and outside of New Earth feel that everyone can be saved by this technology - a young boy named Xan, born into an artificial world, must carry on his father's legacy as finds out he is the last hope to save the planet he never knew.
