Thranduil is often seen as a cold, hard, uncaring elf who is incapable of feeling love. In reality, he is broken inside from the loss of his wife, and never learned to deal with it properly, burying his emotions deep within himself and not allowing himself to feel anything at all. When he finds a girl with remarkable abilities, will she be able to heal his wounds? Will he learn to have faith in others again? I do not lay claim to any of J.R.R Tolkien or Peter Jackson's work, the only things I own are the parts of the storyline that I created and the characters I created.

Book I of the 'To Live Again' Saga In the modern world Clara Riley experiences a life changing event...death! Usually this means the end of living, but this quirky art student gets the shock of her life when she wakes up in Greenwood the Great...when she should be dead...and not in a fictional world? Meanwhile in the Second Age of Arda - an Elven Prince returns from fateful battles horrendously scarred, both inside and out. But not all of Prince Thranduil's scars are battle worn - his heart has long since abandoned any hope of redemption. But not all hope is lost, at least not in the eyes of a young elfling. Legolas is determined to reach his Ada, and he is especially sure his new friend Clara can assist...after all he did pray to the great Illuvatar to send him some help! *AU - new spin on 'girl-falls-into-ME' genre* **Part of the Official Wattpad LOTR fanfic Reading List & Fic Recs** **Part of the Official-Visible Reading List for Wattpad** ***TOP TEN in FANDOM Winner2015*** ***RBLS Popular Choice Winner2016***

^^The cover picture is from weheartit.com This is a story based on a Tumblr request I received asking if I would write a Thranduil story based on "Beauty and the Beast." It is a reader insert! It deviates a bit from the original story. I do not own any Hobbit characters. They belong to J.R.R Tolkien. Characters I do own: Genyc Cellyn Calilmal Elebridith (I will be updating this list as I write) I use http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/elvish/phrases.html for the Elvish translations.

"Come out, barrel rider." He hissed. " Smaug!" A voice clear as crystal rang out. A woman in white began to descend the stairs, she herself had Dragon wings attached to her back. Her skin was as pale and fine as the richest pearl. Smaug shrunk down into a man. Well, not quite, giant leathery wings sprouted from his back. Gold scales where on the sides of his gold eyes, which where no longer trained on Bilbo, on the woman. The pale woman walked down to the once Dragon. " Why are you chasing the little one? Leave him be."

***Book III of the 'To Live Again' Series*** It is the year 3441 of the Second Age of Arda, it has been seven years since the Siege began on Barad-Dur, and now in the ruined ashes of the blood soaked plains of Mordor, the Alliance claim a narrow victory....but at what cost? Thranduil's legacy remains safely tucked away in the great eaves of Greenwood - his forest realm - that he has sacrificed all of himself to defend. His true mate, and bonded love, Clara, and his two beautiful children are left in a state of limbo, their futures entirely uncertain. But Clara, a Vivified immortal with a spirit that shines brightest into the darkest of places, will not let go of her husband so easily. Determined to resurrect the hope of a nation, and restore a broken warrior to a legendary ElvenKing - she fights in every way she knows how. Reydreil came from a nearly extinct race of Elves. The Dragon Elves. Her race descended from valars people. She was born a warrior and commander of Dragons and many other creatures. Nature was her home. Her kin had been burned to flames in front of her eyes by the great King Thranduil. In return she had gotten her dragon to burn half his face off. That wasn't enough for the blood spilt. She traveled a century getting stronger and wiser. Reydreil was intent on getting revenge on the handsome king? But what if two broken souls could mend each other? Of course with a few insults and punch or kick two along the way. - "If this is so wrong, why does it feel so right?"
