When Kara woke up hungry, a mysterious man claimed that she was at the edge-of-life transitioning. After she finally gained proper thinking, there were three unexplained questions that was reeling in her mind; who was this guy who claims she was to transition into something; what miracle saved her from her long-time illness, Leukemia; and why was she still alive when she was supposedly dead.

Seventeen-year old Louise Allen lives a lonely life, with her parents always out on trips; she hates it. However, she has always been positive about life. Twenty one-year old Damon Clyde, Louise's childhood friend, lives a lonely life too, not because his parents were adventurous, but because they're gone forever.
