He takes shelter in a neighboring house, but soon he runs into trouble and is saved by someone who he finds understands him despite his current form; and a new world is opened before him. Silk, as he decides to call her, is not entirely human, but is also a natural animagus. She teaches him to live and protect and he teaches her to better understand humans. Together they experience more of the human world- both magical and not- than either ever had before. Silk before interacting only as far as she had to in order to duel with others. And Harry limited in experience by the Dursley's. It wasn't long however until Hogwarts came calling for him to begin his education and Harry finds himself with something else to look forward, so with Silk's support he heads towards this new adventure more prepared than he has ever been.
