A relationship between an internationally praised athlete and a straight A student who hates any kind of attention is bound to go wrong. But these two college students don't care about the odds. While Link works hard on recovering from a traumatic injury, Zelda is trying her best to juggle the school's expectations, her Father's upper class life style, and the anxiety of a million eyes prying on her relationship.

Link is the star athlete of Hyrule University and Zelda an exceptional scholar. They should be focusing on school and sports, but they keep getting distracted by each other. This fanfic includes characters from the Zelda franchise, but mainly from botw and aoc.

In modern day Hyrule, Link is an orphan who lives in an orphanage. Because he is meant to be the Hero of Hyrule, his bunkmates get jealous and bully him for it. When Link enters first grade, he befriends Zelda, the most beautiful girl in Hyrule, and eventually falls in love with her. The two become inseparable, but everything changes when Zelda hits puberty; she vanishes and doesn't show up at school. Link tries to contact and find her, but no luck. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda. 18 year old Zelda's hard work finally pays off when she is accepted into Hyrule Academy, the private school where only the best are allowed to attend. Everything seems to be perfect until she meets an athlete, Link, who everyone is willing to die for in a heartbeat, and suddenly problems begin to follow her around. Even though they both clearly express their dislike of one another, they somehow find themselves running into each other again and again... On a person's pendant is the first name of their soulmate, the name of the person their soul is bonded to. When young figure skating prodigy Zelda and young ice hockey prodigy Link received their names at the same time and it happened to be the other, they weren't pleased and they were determined to keep it a secret and keep away from eachother. However, being in many of the same classes, having the same birthday and having extremely bad luck, the two just couldn't do so. Now there is a pair figure skating competition, and it just so happens that Zelda is chosen to partner with the captain of Hyrule's ice hockey team to represent Hyrule. All characters are owned by Nintendo.

In this short story, Zelda is on her path to becoming a teacher. Her last hurdle is to be an instructor at a summer camp. The only problem is that she hates summer camp. Zelda, the governor's daughter, is an aspiring author who can only write in coffee shops. Forced by her father to move away from Central, and her beloved coffee shop, she must find a replacement. She finds this in "Hyrule Coffee," owned by a kind young man her own age. When he proposes a deal to her, how will it change both of their lives? Story is the fluffiest I've ever written, but it also has much deeper subjects. It changes drastically near the end.
