Everything we hold dear will sooner or later turn to ash.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, when all I really want is five.

An old piano, a guitar named Nigel, a run away girl and a flame haired singer/songwriter meet unexpectedly in a music shop one chilly December evening.

"Give me ten days, and I can give you ten reasons not to die." Evan paused. "And if I can't change your mind by then, you can go jump off that cliff."

He could've opened it right then and there, making the whole process move quicker, but he slipped it into his jacket pocket, bringing his eyes back up to a normal level, moving forward. The paper was now his, it was no longer in a confused state of lost as well as found. It was simply found. Found by a boy who was blind to the hate in the world. Blind to love. A boy blind to loss.

He met her up in Delaware in 1937.

I will always adore you and our little talks, for my heart is yours.

Pause for a second and imagine this: the person you love is dying, but you can help. You can give them a few more months to make memories, laugh, cry. But at what cost? (Thank you to @TalatheWolf for the summary)
