Emma Swan, 17, is the new girl at Storybrooke High. She lives with her mother, Mary Margaret and stepfather, Walsh. Emma has unfortunately never met her father. Killian Jones, 23, is a history teacher at Storybrooke High, and has a reputation for being extremely strict. When these two meet their is an instant attraction between them, but don't let that fool you. They instantly clash, giving their relationship a rocky start. When the guidance counselor sees that Emma is failing history, she assigns her a tutor. Under the impression her tutor was going to be another student, Emma is shocked to find out it it's none other than Mr. Jones. They grow close and Emma realizes that maybe he isn't as bad as she thought.

Bad news, Emma doesn't like the school and the only way to get out is to cause even more trouble don't you think? During the process for her plan someone helps her find her true self. And the name goes by Killian Jones. Her English teacher at Private Linkin' High. Though Mr. Jones finds this very particular blonde different from every girl there. Why is that?
