Arcadia's Knight Academy is the premier school for young men hoping to become a Sorceress's Knight. Only nobles, people with power and prestige, are allowed within these hallowed grounds-which explains why Caspian Ignis del Sol is hated by everyone. He's not a noble, or of even slightly noble lineage. He's a peasant. Caspian is tasked with delivering a letter to a Sorceress, but he soon finds himself in over his head, when the Sorceress in question is attacked by an elven assassin. Now he's become the temporary Knight for a Sorceress nicknamed The Succubus, and he must protect her from more assassination attempts. However, Caspian is beginning to suspect the Sorceress might be more dangerous than the assassin. Complete!

The name's Chaos. Chaos Killbourne to be exact. People call me reckless, but they're wrong. I'm more like the perfect storm. Destroy an entire city with a single glance? I can do that. Wipe mankind off the face of the earth once and for all? I can do that too. Born to lead a revolt of epic proportions so the Dark Ones can rise up and rule the world is my destiny. Refusing to follow direct orders and become a weapon of mass destruction is my downfall. Cursed by fate, I'm currently on a collision course to form the perfect union in order to balance my explosive supernatural powers before I self-destruct, and take the planet with me. There's just one tiny problem. Once formed the union can never be broken. With a bad attitude and an even worse temper I can't be tamed. Not that I have time to worry about my love life, of course. I'm just trying to make it through high school in one piece. All I know for sure is that the future of mankind rests in my hands, which really pisses me off. I never asked to save the world. After all, I was born to destroy it. Copyright © 2014 ~ Somerlea All rights reserved. "I'd like to propose a toast," I raised my glass and looked around the room at the various expressions staring back up at me, "I'd also like to take this opportunity to clear something up." The room silences and every set of eyes were on me. I met a few of them before I had the courage to even talk again. "First off, I want to say congratulations to the bride, I love you mom." I gulped and looked at my brother who was trying his hardest to keep his eyes averted from mine and focused on the tall glass of wine he was illegally drinking. "The rumors are true," I looked from my brother to CeCe, who looked extremely terrified, "I think- I mean, I know I'm head over heels in love with my brother's girlfriend." Gasps echoed through the room, and whispers began to make me feel more worried than ever. "Enjoy the rest of the reception." I waved towards the DJ, who turned the music back up. I avoided the hands reaching for me through the crowd or the congratulations and 'lesbian' comments and headed straight for the bathroom. I was sure I was about to throw up.

"I love you," I whispered as I ran my hands through her hair, "more than you will ever know." She shifted under my touch and I jumped backwards quickly. "Cadence," she asked, "is that you?" "Yes," I whispered, "I'm here." I froze due to the nerves. She reached for me and I moved in so she could feel my skin. She cupped my face and I tensed. "I did," she muttered, "I heard what you said." I closed my eyes and waited for her to speak again. She didn't and I knew she was waiting for me to say something. To deny it, or to lie about it. I couldn't, and had been for far too long. "Cat," I started and hated myself for the shaking in my voice, "there's no need to lie about it anymore. I love you," I stopped, "but I don't just love you, I'm in love with you, my best friend." She gasped and I knew what was coming next. Rejection, hatred, failure.
