Once upon a time, there was a girl. That girl was me. This girl knew that she was asexual, but she was pretty sure that she was heteroromantic because she had kind of had a few low-key crushes on guys before. Then she saw a really cute girl, and then, well... everything became complicated. This is the story of those complications. OR When I was fourteen years old, I saw something so beautiful that my life would never be the same. I saw something so bright and so wonderful that it outshone the sun, the moon, and all the stars combined. I saw a girl- no, I saw the girl.

It seems that what goes on beyond the doors of the Talarico East Coast School of Performing Arts, isn't just performance. Allie and Jessica have practically been dancers forever, and their acceptance to a prestigious eastern intensive program is something they see as nothing short of a blessing. But as the summer days wear on, things heat up in more ways than one. After the two hook up one night as part of a game, Allie's rebellious older sister begins to challenge Jessica in ways she never imagined. Allie spends her days searching for love, but may only find it in the most unlikely of places. Relationships form, relationships end, hearts are damaged, and so are friendships. The kids of Tecspa are getting more than they ever bargained for this summer. Will they manage to make it out unscathed? Cover image rights: © Rivilis | Dreamstime Stock Photos & Stock Free Images

"Oh my darling, when you smile, it is like a song" - "Obviously," She started. There was a nervous shake in her voice that made me tilt my head in her hands. "Obviously you don't understand the agreement." She repeated after quickly composing herself. I rolled my eyes, but let her continue. "Where you go, I go. Where I go, you go." She told me sternly. Her thumbs grazed my cheeks and heat rose on my skin where she touched. I couldn't tell if this was just Sophia being caring or if she was maybe feeling more. My brain told me that this was all a friendly gesture, but my body and it's stupid hormones were telling me that it was something more. And your brain can never really overcome true instincts. I moved closer towards her, shrinking the already limited space between us. This time it was Sophia's turn to blush which only made my smile grow larger. All I could think about was her lips meeting mine. (a new and improved skmw xx)
