So this fan fiction idea came to me from a YouTube video fan fiction called tough love, so the idea of this story is not mine. Connie is now 33 and clinical lead of the Holby Emergency Department, at 18 Connie had a child with her childhood sweetheart Jacob Masters, but this isn't the fairy tale ending that all you readers will imagine. Katie, aged 15, wants nothing more than to meet her dad, Jacob Masters. But her mum, Connie Chase, whom she adores, tells her he is no good. Katie runs away from home to find her dad but what she finds she doesn't like and when she returns her mother is left to pick up the pieces that Jacob has managed to create. In this story Grace doesn't exist.
