She didn't realize a falling star appeared across the night sky. - "God, please send me an angel to tell me everything will be OK." he sighed. Just like the woman on the other side of the small town, he didn't see the falling star. But it was a night full of wonders and fate had something in store for two lonely people Maine Mendoza a lovely girl who has inherited her grandfather's vineyard at the age of 26. She's independent and is loved by everyone in their land. One thing though is she is scared to fall in love, after her ex fiancé leaves her for her best friend she has sworn off all the guys and isolate herself. She has her pet chow-chow Nini for company. She lives alone by the lake. Dr . Richard Alden Faulkerson Jr, or RJ for short is her new neighbor. His eyes no longer sparkles after witnessing thousands of storm victims. To forget, he decides to move to a small town to become the new General Practitioner for the clinic which is owned by his cousin Marian Rivera-Dantes and her husband Dr. DingDong Dantes.

Not just an ordinary aldub story

What if Rj and Maine did not meet in Eat Bulaga? What if Maine did not pass her audition? How could destiny manage to make them meet up again? This story will try to explore "what could have been". It is set a couple of years from that fateful day in 2015. Hope you will enjoy it.

A young chef looking for a chance to prove herself in a world dominated by men. She wanted to be known as a chef on her own and not because she was the daughter for two renowned celebrity chefs. Her mother is a renowned chef host in one of the cooking show in the US while her father is a renowned owner and chef in a restaurant in New York. The restaurant is a family owned high end restaurant in which waiting line is said to be as long as 6 months prior. An entrepreneur who was known as the youngest son of a business tycoon. His family owned a conglomerate of food chains, high end restaurants and hotels all over the world. His passion is to search of the best foods and is also known to be a food critic. His opinion is highly regarded by the society. Whatever he writes can make or break an establishment. When a young chef who is looking for a niche in the world of food meets a renowned food critic, will it be an ambrosia for the angels or will it be a war of beliefs and tastes? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first attempt to write any short story. I just wanted to try. Please bear with me.

"Maine." RJ firmly said. "Tigilan mo." Maine froze. She didn't know what she did that made him say that and she knew he wasn't happy about it. She didn't want to make RJ angry. She can't make him angry because she knew that there would be serious consequences. "Wala naman akong... " She wanted to answer him but she stopped midsentence. She remembered that she can't talk back, not when he gave a command. "Sumasagot ka pa." He looked at her with an electrifying gaze then gave her a crooked grin. It wasn't just any grin. Maine knew what that grin meant. Her body clenched in anticipation. She was massively turned on by the dominance displayed by her boyfriend. RJ knew what he wanted and Maine was easily unknowingly giving it to him. "I can't wait for tonight." What if RJ was the dominant and Maine was the submissive? What would happen? Fate sure knows how to play tricks. RJ is one of the people who go about their days without actually living. For him, he had no other reason to live other than to give his family a good life. Maine walked in his life and effortlessly lit up his world, making him smile and laugh genuinely. He couldn't be happier, until she unintentionally turned his world upside down again. Will RJ take a chance in a love story with Maine, the person who gave him reasons to live and the same person who will make him want to give up?
