Six high school students. One impossible mission. And a power they never asked for... Kidnapped by the ruthless bio-terrorist group NEMESIS, the teens are exposed to a new element called Primonium-unlocking abilities only the rarest of humans, known as Primes, could possess. NEMESIS plans to unleash Primonium into the atmosphere, creating thousands of superhumans and reshaping society on their own twisted terms. Rescued by Atlas Corp., a private military organization dedicated to stopping NEMESIS, the six teens are thrust into a world of danger, espionage, and powers beyond their imagination. As new Primes, they must progress with their abilities, trust each other, and confront a rising threat that could kill millions. From high school parties to global battlefields, these six heroes must stop NEMESIS before the world changes forever. Evolution isn't a choice-it's a responsibility. And the clock is ticking. 🧬🧬🧬 Red Skies is a semi-grounded superhero story with some light progression elements. Think of it as Captain America meets X-Men meets Power Rangers meets My Hero Academia. There will be three books in the series, each of somewhere in the realm of 30-35 chapters apiece. The series contains 3 POVs, each dealing with different themes, character development, and aspects of the story. Chapters are 2,000-3,000 words, every Saturday at 12 PM EST.

Death was a cocoon. Inside it, he became something else. It was a shield that enveloped him, blotting out the pain and the fear. Then they brought him back, and the cocoon dissipated. Gone. Evaporated, like a drop of water on the scalding metal slats of the heating vent in his cell. But dying was always easy. Coming back tore him to pieces. I was never meant to leave that room. I had spent my whole life in there, imagining what it was like on the outside. I looked forward to the day when I would finally be allowed to leave. But that day was never supposed to come. Until James decided to keep his promise. He had always been there, on the other side of the glass. Waiting. The experiment wasn't over. He was still waiting for me to change. But I didn't change. Not until that night. It was dark, and there was rain. The sound of the car engine was loud, but the crash was louder. In the crash, I became something different. I changed. But not for James. This new part of me emerged for one reason; to save her. This story is a first draft and will contain typos and grammatical errors. I apologize for these in advance, and hope you can see beyond them to the story beneath. Happy reading!
