This is a One Shot. A story meant to bring healing after months of agonizing over the loss of one of my greatest mentors, an inspiration and hero to millions across the globe. Chester Charles Bennington, the world is still mourning the loss of Your light. Although I don't know if I will ever post more of my first chapter story on WATT, this piece came out of nowhere as I was debating on removing the other one. For now it remains, but this is a story I urge all of you to read if you are trying to find peace within your own hearts and are still in mourning. Chester Bennington is a normal person. That’s what he’d like to call himself anyway. He’s got a great girlfriend. He doesn’t need to do much for a living and spends a lot of time out hunting with some of his friends in the woods. He works at a restaurant down the street from his apartment. There’s nothing weird about him. Right?

On August 17, 2008, a diary that I had been writing over the course of the summer traveled from my hands into the hands of Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park. This is a fiction written about that diary.
