The world seems to be falling apart. Kingdoms are falling quickly by the armies of the damned. Demons, Monsters, and Dragons approach upon what remains, and what humanity would have once called angelic is now working against them. Even God is not on their side. But, a ray of light spreads hope to those still alive. A knight, his armor scorched in flames and cracked with an ethereal glow in the darkness, and his sword shone brightly in the sunlight. Lands are pulled together, cultures that once never knew of each other now reluctantly band together in the fight for the survival, all spreading the tale of the knight of blood and fire.

He fought for his planet against the Settlement Defense Front, and sacrificed himself for the greater good. But what happens if our protagonist, Nick Reyes never died, but ended up in a world that used to have heroes. I don't own Overwatch or CoD:IW. It has been 40-some years since Captain Nick Reyes and his crew attacked Mars in an attempt to destroy Salen Kotch's reign with the SDF. Now, a new threat of SDF forces has risen, and although Earth has been restored since the attacks, the planet is still in grave danger. A young woman by the name of Terra Sloane escapes Earth after the SDF's deadly attack, heading to Mars. There, the supposed Captain Reyes is still alive, through which a secret no one knows. Though he is supposed to be in a coma-like state, Terra runs into him in the wastelands of Mars after crash-landing. Convincing him to return with her, Terra begins a journey to defeat the high power of the SDF: Colis. His plans to destroy the solar system with the new SDF are more powerful than ever before and it won't be long before the entire solar system is obliterated. With this unexpected journey Terra begins, she learns the truth to more secrets than she thinks possible. With those come betrayal, loss and even a bit of unintentional love. ~~~ This is a work of FAN-fiction, therefore I don't own everything in this story. Terra, the rebels, some ships, Colis and other minor characters are from my mind. There are also some locations, unless specified, that belong to me.
