Athena (Atty) Rose Pincent was named after the Greek Goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration and strength, by parents that had an infatuation with the ancient Gods. But Athena had little interest in such things, like most 17 year old girls. She did not like anyone calling her by her given name and she adopted Atty as her name. Beautiful, but tough and independent, she was outspoken and took no shit from anyone, including the irritating voice in her head, that had plagued her for as long as she could remember. She was a typical teenager, living a life that she tolerated, while searching for her true identity. Little did she know that her name was more than reference to an ancient Goddess. She awoke one morning to a world in which she was all alone, except for the irritating voice in her head, which soon became more than just a voice. In some strange twist of fate, the voice became human. A woman who took the name Cat. Together the two prepared to face a world, they thought, consisted of just the two of them. But it became quickly evident that they were not alone and that Atty's namesake was not just a reference to a bygone age. In a world of arrogant, self serving Gods and Goddesses, Atty and Cat soon learned that if they were to survive, they would have to become more than just two teenage girls. They had to discover and become what they truly were, before it was too late.

My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. Love, loss, pain, regret, humor, irony, word play, and even sarcasm are as much apart of my life as they are central to my poems here. I am Thresheld. UPDATE: It's been quite a few years since I started this book, and it has become rather prolific. I am currently working on organizing my poetry to make it easy to navigate. For now I've posted my recommendations and a few favorite shorts. Feel free to check out anything here there is no order you need to read in and there isn't any separation of emotional content so who knows what you might get. Anyways leave a comment, pretty please :3

❝ Your love for someone can make you loathe yourself ❞ "Why are you late?" I asked him. He dropped his coat on the couch and seemed tired. "I had some important works to complete, " he avoided my eyes, making it less obvious. My gaze stopped on his neck, there was a fresh hickey. I felt a strong pain in my heart as if someone stabbed me right there. ••• AU | Park Jimin HIGHEST RANKING: #2 IN FANFICTION 18th June 2018 Started: 29th September 2017 Ended: 6th February 2018 Copyright© 2017-18 onemonsoon Rewritten version - ongoing

Ever since photographer Lacy Maguire caught her ex playing Pin the Secretary to the Elevator Wall, she's been content with her dog Fabio, her three cats, and a vow of chastity. But all of that changes when the reindeer-antlered Fabio drags in a very desperate, on-the-run detective who decides to take refuge in her house -- a house filled with twinkling lights and a decorated tree. (Okay, so it's February, but she has a broken heart to mend, a Christmas-card shoot to do, and a six-times divorced, match-making mother to appease.) For the first time in a looooong while, Lacy reconsiders her vow. Because sexy Chase Kelly, wounded soul that he may be, would be an oh-so-delicious way of breaking her fast. Now, if she can just keep them both alive and him out of jail....

Title says it all. - They are not all dark, either. - And there is a few scary stories I found. Note: None of this is like, personal, or true, I convert my anger and depression into these poems. Some have meaning, others don't. Also there is a slight trigger warning.
