A continued story of Hayffie after the war (Mockingjay Pt. 2). Effie Trinket never felt like she fit in with the Capitol citizens. When her neighbors enjoyed a life of gossip and outstanding fashion, Effie was trained out to the poorest district of Panem to gather one boy and girl who would most likely be the first to die in the Hunger Games. Effie must decide where her heart lies: with the Capitol or her friends. Haymitch Abernathy didn't want to fit in with anyone. From the moment Katniss Everdeen stabbed that mahogany table, he knew he was in for an adventure. With liqueur being the only substance able to soothe the trauma from his past, Haymitch must decide if alcohol is worth giving up Effie Trinket. Happy with the cry for help, he invites her to live with him. Only God knows what is going to happen between these two.

A few years after the rebellion..(mockingjay) Haymitch Abernathy and Effie Trinket were brought together by fate and finally decided to begin their life together. They have a daughter which they name Twyla. But when they least expect, drastic events happen and they must keep Twyla hidden...but her safety won't last forever.

Haymitch is surprised when Effie wants to spend Christmas with him.
