Hilė yra kitokia. Nebūtų keista, jei ji negyventų tarp vampyrų. Jos tėvai ją dar visai mažą atnešė į vampyrų akademiją. Nuo to laiko ji daugiau jų nebematė. Mergina tikrų tikriausia vampyrė, bet jaučia, kad kažkas ne taip. Be to, netikėtai ji tampa sergėtoja, ir ne bet ko, ogi gražaus, tačiau kieto charakterio Kleo. Kad ir kiek Hilė jo nepakenčia, pagal sergėtojų taisykles jai tenka jį saugoti. Tačiau tai tik smulkmeniška problema, su kuria Hilė privalės susidoroti, palyginus su kitais netikėtumais vampyrų akademijoje. Istoriją sudaro 3 dalys.
