8 64 4096 16,777,216 Again. Every night I dream of numbers and algorithms. No one knows about this. No one can know. I will become a permanent resident of the local mental institution. Despite these, I want to tell someone. Ever since I started to learn to write I have been noting them down under each date in my diary. Tomorrow will be my birthday and I will be 16. 11 years. That is how long I have been hiding it. ****************** Numbers have been swarming in Hannah Laskaris' head when she's asleep ever since she could remember. Even though she tries to forget it in the morning, it has become a lasting memory. What does it mean? What is the secret behind it all? Will she live it through to the end? © 2015 SecretAuthor

Everyone knows the story of Snow White: blood red lips, ebony hair and skin the colour of freshly fallen snow. Her vain step-mother, desperate to be the 'fairest of them all' attempts four times to have her killed, until her prince comes to save the day. But what if Snow wasn't a princess, but a prince. And the queen's antique silver mirror contained not just her reflection, but a girl. Mirror can no longer remember her name - or life - before the queen imprisoned her. All day, every day, she finds herself at the queen's beck and call; a life of endless servitude and isolation. Snowdon is approaching his 18th birthday and is an increasing threat to the queen's right to rule. And his looks are putting him in the running for her 'fairest' title too. So the queen decides the quickest way to solve all her problems is to get rid of Snowdon. Permanently. But the girl watching their every move has other ideas.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single girl of high standing at Longbourn Academy must be in want of a prom date. After winter break, the girls at the very prestigious, very wealthy, girls-only Longbourn Academy are suddenly obsessed with the prom, which they share with the nearby, equally elitist, all-boys Pemberley School. Lizzie Bennet, who attends Longbourn on scholarship, isn't exactly interested in designer dresses and expensive shoes, but her best friend, Jane, might be-especially now that Charles Bingley is back from a semester in London. Lizzie is happy about her friend's burgeoning romance, but less than impressed by Will Darcy, Charles's friend, who's snobby and pretentious. Darcy doesn't seem to like Lizzie either, but she assumes it's because her family doesn't have money. Clearly, Will Darcy is a pompous jerk-so why does Lizzie find herself drawn to him anyway? Will Lizzie's pride and Will's prejudice keep them apart? Or are they a prom couple in the making?
