He's carefully balancing the sandwiches and the two biggest tupperware containers he could find that both had functioning lids when the front door opens and he almost drops everything right there in front of the stupid fountain. If that's Derek Hale, he's definitely not a mountain man.

It's 1995, and Castiel's high school years are destined to be difficult: home-schooled until eighth grade, he is awkward, shy, and socially inept. The weird kid with the funny name would rather isolate himself and draw in his sketchbook than deal with the constant bullying he faces every day. Things only get worse in his junior year when he excels in home economics class, leading the captain of the baseball team, Alastair, to start taunting him for being gay. Then new student Dean Winchester arrives at Flour Bluff High School, sharing many of Castiel's classes. Castiel has seen his type before -- handsome, athletic, arrogant, and sure to be the most popular kid in school. But Castiel eventually learns that he and Dean have more in common than he thought, and they form an unlikely friendship. This story was originally published October 20, 2010 as part of the Dean/Cas Big Bang Challenge. Warnings: Bullying, homophobic language, some violence related to bullying. Book 1 HomeLess Book 2 ReckLess Book 3 SenseLess Being homeless isn't the end of the world. At least, that's what Zachary thought when he found himself on the streets after being kicked out at seventeen. It hadn't been his fault. His father had used him as a scapegoat and won his mother over, thinking that her husband was telling the truth about his cheating and that Zachary was the one who was bringing women over, trying to ruin their marriage. He'd argued his side, but once his mother decided on something, her mind would not be changed. That's how he came to live in the alley near the end of 73rd street between the old bakery and a laundromat. It wasn't anything special, but after three years he'd managed to spruce up the place and make it almost-bearable to live in. Over the years he'd made friends with random people he often passed on the streets and did manage to hold down a few random jobs, but like everything else, they came, then went. Now he was left with fifteen dollars and twenty-two cents, a torn blanket, one outfit, and a dream for a better life. He just didn't know that he'd find it somewhere he'd never thought to look... or with someone he never knew he'd want.

Logan Morris hates singing. In fact, he's not a huge fan of music itself. So how did he find himself singing the bass line in the school jazz choir, Fortuity? Because he's determined to experience first hand what happens at band camp. Unfortunately for Logan though, what happens at band camp doesn't stay at band camp.

Book 3 of the Cross-shifter Series. Life has always been good for Sam. He had it all. The huge house. All the hot one night stands he could ever want. Parents who could honestly care less about seeing girls stumble out the door at odd hours of the day and or night. Everything seemed perfect. Until he found out something about himself that literally kicked his ass...right out of the house and onto the curb. He had always known he was a canine shapeshifter, just like his two parents. However, when things began to get awkward with the male students at his school during his senior year, ending with him being jumped in the locker room, he quickly found out that he not only was a shapeshifter, but a special kind which was considered a disgrace to his family. A cross-shifter. The trip to the animal shelter had been planned for quite awhile but work had kept finding its way into the time slot he'd allowed for the trip. Now, with his three year old daughter cheering in the backseat, Richard finally makes his way to the building and finds a parking spot. He expects to find something small that would hopefully take to his daughter and be a friend he sometimes couldn't be when he had long days at work, but something caught his daughter's attention in an off-limits quarantine area that he just couldn't leave behind.
