Jack is a nerd who is in his first year of collage and Hiccup is a punk in his 3rd year. Hiccup is the lead singer of a band known as the Dragon Riders and when his other lead singer Astride drops out of the band he has to find a new side lead singer before the Battle of the bands competition. He chooses Jack because of a accidental singing battle they had in a bar one night and thinks he is the perfect chose, bad news is jack hates hiccup.
