*NOTE: this story is unfinished and there is a good chance it will stay that way, esp with life getting busier* Anabel has finally left elementary school, and is plunged into the terrifying world of middle school. She doesn't know anyone there, and she'll have to somehow make new friends. Worst of all, she'll have to ride the bus with highschoolers. How will she survive?? Note: This book takes place in the middle of How Close We Were. It's basically a mix of a prequel and a sequel. Credits to @WriteActSing for the cover

3rd grader Anabel meets Tile. At first, they are enemies, but by 4th grade, they become really good friends. Seems like a cute, typical, elementary school friendship, right? But will it stay that way?

Katrina is a sassy first grader who loves to dance. She lives with her mom, sisters, pet and mother's best friend. Her sisters were adopted but she wasn't. Her mother had a sperm donor. Katrina gets jealous that everyone at school had a dad but her. Her family goes on a mission to find out who her father is.

Maycee's daily thoughts were destroying her life. Her only outlets were her poems and her acting, but theater season was ending and she was out of inspiration for writing. One could say her sexuality itself was confused, in its own right. Close to cutting and quite anorexic, her very existence was being torn to shambles.
