For the most part Dava's led a happy life. She had everything that she needed; a loving family, a good home and her romance books. She was saved by the man that she now calls father at the age of five and grew up lacking for nothing. She was the quiet, shy type in school and stayed in the background for the most part and her simple life should have been enough. For the most part, it was. She was even satisfied with the way her life was heading until over night, her happy and simple life gets turned upside down. She walks into school and suddenly his intense gaze is focused solely on her. Adam, the Alpha's son, scented her the moment that she walked in the door. When Dava walked by him, she smelt so sweet that she was all he could think about for the rest of the day. It was then that he knew he had to have her. One way or the other, he would find a way to make her his mate. There was one small problem, Adam's father, the reigning Alpha is Dava's true sacred mate. He was already mated to Adam's mother when she came into the picture at only five years of age. Rafe decided then and there that he would keep his distance and watch her from afar. But now that his own son has stated his claim, can he sit idly by and watch him bond with the one person in this life that was meant for only him?

Cli·ché: a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought. Meet Pepper Ballard. Independent, single, and sarcastic as hell. Pepper fights her own battles with pride and is officially #done with clichés. Unshaven werewolves, pale vampires, flawless and talented female vampire hunters who instantly fall in love with the enemy even though they want to kill the hunter's entire family... Please, give her a break. The more Pepper tries to avoid these nauseating clichés and destroy them, the further she is dragged into a dark, supernatural world that is her own virtual worst nightmare. A world that includes a bunch of sexy, mysterious, and dangerous men lurking around every corner... Wait...what's the definition of "nightmare" again? * * * My writing page! Olivia's best friend is not imaginary. He’s not a ghost, either. And she's pretty sure he's not a hallucination. He’s just Mason. He is, however, invisible. When Olivia spotted the crying little boy on her front porch at five years old, she had no idea she was the only one who could see him. Twelve years later when new-girl Robin bumps into the both of them and introduces herself to Mason, they are both stunned. Mason couldn't be more pleased that someone else can see him. Olivia, on the other hand, isn't jumping at the chance to welcome Robin into their circle. Jealousy may have something to do with that, but honest fear that Robin's presence will put Mason in danger is soon validated when a strange black car begins showing up everywhere. The race to find out what Robin knows in time to protect Mason from whatever threats are coming becomes Olivia's only focus.
