Stiles is kidnapped by Gérard, and brutally Beaten up, to be then told that he is not pack and never was by Derek. Stiles makes Erica and boyd promise to not to say anything about what happened to him. When they find out that Stiles is not pack and what Derek said to him, they are fuming. Derek tells them along with the rest of the pack that are not aloud any contact with Stiles. Stiles is dereks mate and he just wants to keep him out of the supernatural and thinks he is protecting him, not realising how much pain he is in from his injuries. Lydia leaves the pack to be with stiles. She only stayed because of Jackson and he has now moved to London.
