It’s 1998, and a flood of new students are coming into the University of Alabama. The new seniors couldn’t care less, since all they want to do is graduate like the previous class. But everyone seems pretty interested in these freshmen. Who wouldn’t be? They’re the full package—any type of person you can think of, they’re somewhere in the bunch—and they come with a side of drama too. So meet Brian, Travis, Wayne, Nefertiti (aka Neffie), Flo, Hunter, Quincy, and Sabine. They have a lot to offer. Whilst the purpose of college may be to learn, everyone knows that the students don’t care much about that. The true concern is partying, relationships, and getting out all the stupidity they have in them before they crash into adulthood. Essentially, they’re doing everything they are not supposed to. Ladies and gentlemen, these are the college fiends.

Azealia has a special gift. She’s known since she was little. She can receive messages that change lives, sometimes even hers. Fortunately, Azealia can control this gift, only permitting the determining messages to take over her mind when she senses that they are urgent. But that’s very rare; she is usually too busy being fond of mermaids or restyling her Rapunzel-like rainbow hair to worry about the gift. She is essentially a regular person. That’s only until she uses her gift again on the Medusan Olympic cruise ship that her parents rented for the summer. This message is indeed urgent, and Azealia knows that all too well. The power is now in her hands to either save two—or maybe even more—lives, or ignore it because she doesn’t like the lives she can save. She expects herself to go with the right decision…but what if she doesn’t have a choice? What if Azealia must take the alternative and it is not even in her hands? One thing or another, she is desperate to get the situation under control. But from this situation blooms many others, and Azealia is not sure her life can ever be normal again. Not that it ever was.

I clicked a pen against my thigh and hovered the tip over the small post it note."What's your name?" "My name is Solomon but people call me Salmon." "Like the fish?" "Like the fish." He handed me his paper. I hesitated writing and quirked an eyebrow at the odd nickname. He was studying me, so slowly I drew a simple picture of a fish and slapped the post it on the stack of complete application forms.

Aubrey is magnificent. Fantastic. Exemplary. But he’s also stupid; because you just have to be stupid to burn down your million-dollar mansion all because of a cigarette. Now that his mansion and everything inside it - including the memorabilia from his high school years and family portraits with fake, practiced smiles - are gone, his uncle is willing to take Aubrey in. Uncle Drake’s mansion is even more lavish than Aubrey’s, but there are side effects: a crazy old man named Jeffie with a crazy story to tell, an up-to-no-good young man named Cyrus, and two gorgeous girls who are each granted the disadvantage of being loved by the magnificent, stupid Aubrey. Things may seem light at first - mysterious, but light. But what happens when Aubrey finds out that his life, and the lives of others, are at stake? Will anyone make it out alive? He wants to rescue everyone, but there’s only so much the man of the year can do.

Call it prose. Call it poetry. Call it hastily written words. Whatever you call it...enjoy it. Be saddened by it. Learn from it. Embrace it. Bask in it. These are words written by one woman for all women. You're beautiful. Smile. There is someone out there who thinks you are utterly amazing.
