A war is being held in the land of Acadia and the queen of the kingdom is in utter chaos. Not known to most, she is not the rightful heir. When her parents were assassinated her older brother bailed, being too young to rule on his own but to stubborn to take council. He left angrily telling the officials that their kingdom would fall. That was seven years ago. With the help of the officials Achlys has held her rule. But now the kingdom needs a leader of strength and military abilities and she doesn't cut it. With no ideas left she's forced to scour the lands for an older brother she resents, and to seek out the conceited ruler her kingdom needs. "He was stunningly handsome and looked extremely strong for what little armor he wore. An agile man with great strength and a sharpness that put me on edge.
