Toe the line between rule-following and rule-breaking in this tense and twisted start to a smart and sexy dystopian trilogy. Vi knows the Rule: Girls don’t walk with boys, and they never even think about kissing them. But no one makes Vi want to break the Rules more than Zenn…and since the Thinkers have chosen him as Vi’s future match, how much trouble can one kiss cause? The Thinkers may have brainwashed the rest of the population, but Vi is determined to think for herself. But the Thinkers are unusually persuasive, and they’re set on convincing Vi to become one of them….starting by brainwashing Zenn. Vi can’t leave Zenn in the Thinkers’ hands, but she’s wary of joining the rebellion, especially since that means teaming up with Jag. Jag is egotistical, charismatic, and dangerous—everything Zenn’s not. Vi can’t quite trust Jag and can’t quite resist him, but she also can’t give up on Zenn. This is a game of control or be controlled. And Vi has no choice but to play.

Sixteen-year-old Gabriella Kilpatrick can shoot fire from her hands, which would be great if she didn't get blamed for a blazing inferno that kills 17 schoolmates. When Gabby is commanded to Manifest her Element, everyone knows what she is: a genetic abnormality. Not to mention guilty. So she does two logical things to survive. 1. She runs. 2. She hacks off her hair to assume a new role-that of "Gabe", because in her world, only boys are Firemakers. Not only does she have to act like a guy, she has to pretend to know everything a Firemaker should know. When Gabby meets Airmaster Adam Gillman, he believes her act and pledges to serve on "Gabe's" Council. But Adam has the mark of a sentry and spent years obeying Alex, the Supreme Elemental. And Alex wants Gabby-the-genetic-freak dead and gone before she can gather the magical protection of a full Council. With Adam's lies that sound like truths and rumors that Alex isn't really a Firemaker-or a man-Gabby sets out to charter a Council of her own. In order to uncover the truth, Gabby will have to learn who she can trust, how to control her own power, and most of all, how to lead a Council of Elementals, most of whom have more control over their power than she does. If she can't, she'll find herself just like those 17 schoolmates: burned and six feet under. Read the whole Elemental series, right here on Wattpad: 1. Elemental Rush 2. Elemental Hunger 3. In this dangerous game with time, someone's bound to lose. Seventeen-year-old Saige Phillips can't help holding on to the hope that she'll find Chloe, her twin who went missing five years ago. After all, Saige sees echoes of Chloe sitting in the window and skipping down the stairs. Though there's never been any sound associated with Saige's "hallucinations," she's freaked out by the breathing she hears in her bedroom. The breathing is definitely real, and it's definitely not coming from Saige. It's echoing through a time rift that originates in Saige's bedroom. Then a grayed-out guy shows up, saying his name is Price and he's from the future. He has the same blue film clinging to him that Saige has seen on Chloe, and she seizes onto the idea that her twin went through the rift. As Saige searches for answers in her time, she's met with secret after secret, all coming back to one source: her physicist mother. Price lives in the year 2073 with his Time Keeper father and a whole slew of global initiatives that regulate time travel. He knows time shouldn't be played with. What he doesn't know is why the rift opened now, or how he can stop it. The deeper Price digs, the harder the truth is to swallow. His father willfully violating the global time travel initiative is one thing. Stealing the rift site from Saige's mother is quite another. And kidnapping-or worse-to cover everything up takes things too far. When the rift begins to show signs of overuse and instability, Price is desperate to close it before it explodes while Saige will do anything to keep it open long enough to find Chloe. In this dangerous game with time, someone's bound to lose.

Long ago stood the kingdom of Requiem, a land of men who could grow wings and scales, breathe fire, and take flight as dragons. Requiem ruled the sky. This ancient land now lies in ruin, its halls crumbled, its cries silenced, its skeletons littering the burned earth. In the wilderness, a scattering of survivors lives in hiding. The griffins still hunt them, and every day promises death. Will Requiem's last children perish in exile... or once more become dragons and fly to war?

They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago. The dance has died. The world has fallen still. We float through the heavens, one half always in light, one half always in shadow. Like the moth of our forests, one wing white and the other black, we are torn. My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark. I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.

A quick romance story about Seba, a Greek, who was friends with a girl named Cassandra, a plump girl who has been insecure all her life about her size. Quick note about this story: For Academy readers, you should know Seba was Silas BEFORE there was a Silas. I wrote this story off the cuff a few years before I wrote Introductions but I never really completed the story. This is one of the characters Silas evolved from, so you'll see very striking similarities. I just thought you all might enjoy seeing this. Also, I did write this JUST as the Braves got a new field. :) For people in the know, I feel you. It's just an older story, okay? Most know I'm a Red Sox fan anyway. <3
