A chubby Nigerian girl moves, with her dad, to the United States to attend her last few years of high school at an uneducated, uncultured, misinformed black school. Her skin dark as night, and the goal, in America, is for you to be as light as can be. She quickly finds out that her fellow people of color are blind to the actual color of their skin and their history. The only thing they seem to know is colorism.
