The life long YouTube best friends Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal's daily morning show "Good Mythical Morning" as long time been a success among it's viewers. When the 25th season is about to start an Internet plague spreads throughout computers all over the world. A viral video know as "Hello and Goodbye" infects computers, which later transfers the virus to their human users. Rhett and Link quickly picks up the fact that people starts leaving their channel going to the " Hello and Goodbye " channel instead. Will they mange to save technology and Mythical Beasts all over the world? Or fail and be infected themselves?

The comedy duo, Rhett and Link, and a few members of the crew, travel to Japan for a YouTube conference. A tragic incident occurs while they are aboard on their ship.
