I highly suggest reading the original before reading this book! A fanfiction of 'Expiration Date' and 'Expired' by @MikaelaBender Brooklyn and Jess have been best friends since fourth grade. They are both now 14. But they are the same as everyone else in one way: They had the date of their death imprinted on their forearm at birth, by the Society. But Brook is different, she's an Amoris on a mission. Find the Expired and kill them. Will she give in or will she rebel?

The fighting was over. Erik had moved on from Iris, while Jonas was finally able to date and marry her While she experiences pregnancy issues with her first daughter, she feels complete and meets her spiritual parents and friends. Her second child, a son, helps her realize that a broken family divided by beliefs of the Mark they are branded with at birth. She was finally able to conquer motherhood as the Mark was banned, but still haunted by the secret Amoris. She was finally able to enjoy something for once ever since she was expired; being a mother.

Everything in the Society returned back to normal, except for one thing; Iris finally expired. Or so people thought after she died when the maze was blown up. Colton had secretly saved her, because he thought at first he could use her against the Tresais and Preeminence, whom both loved her. Soon after though, he began to fall in love with the person he used to deeply despise for her Expiration Date, since his told him he would die at the age of thirty five, too young for the Society. He decided to try to love Iris, hoping it would somehow save him from his upcoming Expiration Date. They had married when he was thirty, with only five years left of his life. He decided to enjoy every last bit of it.

This is an Expiration Date fanfic, and the original story is by Mikaela Bender. This is for a mother's day challenge posted in her book, and if you haven't read Expiration Date, this will probably not make any sense to you.
