He was horrible at remembering names. It was weeks before he stopped calling me 'Laura.' I don't even look like a Laura. And the way he never used the intercom system? How professional, my boss is screaming across the office for me. Again. He's arrogant. He's always seven minutes late. Couldn't keep an assistant around if his life depended on it. He didn't even deserve this company. Daddy served it to him on a silver platter. I could hear him tapping his stupid pen off of his stupid desk from all the way out here. I hate him. I hate him and his damn dimples too. I hate you Daniel Metzgar.

Being the new girl is hard. But being the new girl that shows up on her first day of school accompanied by the three hottest guys on campus is even harder. You could practically see 99% of the school's female population seething with jealousy as soon as they pulled into the parking lot. I mean, I would be too if some chick I'd never seen before turned up squashed between two Greek Gods with another one at the wheel. So you see, when Cassandra's parents decided to move from their nice, quiet, typical suburban town to a little dot on the coast known as Bells Bay, she didn't think her life would change THAT drastically. But of course, fate and an extremely attractive boy by the name of Shane Ryder just had to intervene and prove her wrong. She is Cassandra Greene after all, and nothing usually goes her way.

"Oh my God, Zara," he whispered, taking a good look at me. The insecurity managed to break through my amorousness. "I knew you were a beautiful woman, but damn, you're about to kill me with those curves." "I..." I wrapped my arms around chest, feebly trying to shield myself from his stare. Shame churned within my stomach. "I-Is that a bad thing?" "No, it's a very good thing." Gently, he pushes my arms away so I can't hide myself anymore. I sighed as his fingers drew little lines along the curves of my hips. "Almost makes we wish I was a race car driver so I could fully appreciate them."
