Lyra knew that one day she would be set into an arranged marriage like a chess piece. She had been preparing for it her whole life, and she was almost alright with her fate. But she never thought that her father would choose the man that he did. That decision changed everything. The King of Whales is ruthless, more than twice her age and surrounded by tainted gold and loads of unsavory rumors. There have been many wives of his before Lyra, with no explanations to the untimely deaths of the previous five. With each dead Queen came more money from their kingdoms, straight into the King's portly lap. Disguised as a young man, Lyra runs from her duty as the only Princess of Nordic. She cuts her hair, takes her steed and disappears into the night with her father's men hot on her heels. Enter Kaladin's team. Occupation: Mercenaries. Lyra uses skills taught to her by a close, childhood friend and plays herself into the trust of the dangerous strangers until they accept her, or rather, "Navani", into their group. What will happen to her once they see through her web of lies and tricks? Will Lyra give herself up as Princess when she is reunited with her long-lost friend, or will she carry on as a boy with the mercenaries? Follow Lyra to see what she will do when she comes to realize that things have gotten far too big for her to handle on her own. There are assassin's out for her head, king's thirsting for her blood, and an underground network of people who live for her ruin. But there is also an unlikely Prince to defend her, who has some tricks of his own to rely on. The Princess soon sees that she is not nearly as alone as she may have once thought. What will Lyra do when she comes to terms with her destiny? Will she face it this time with her new friends, or will she chose to run away again? Cover made by @-rebellixus-

A vampire raised by humans, an OCD elf, a hyper active werewolf and a grumpy angel have six months to reach a forsaken realm called The Firelands (formerly The Dragon Realm). Should be simple right? Its not like they have a group of hunters of their tail, have to find four mostly-unhelpful dragons and, in general, don't get along with each other. Nah, this will be easy. Can't be that hard to escape the goblin tunnels. A giant who fancies himself a chef can't be that much of a threat. And they certainly don't almost kill each other on one very awkward night in a vampire city. What could possibly go wrong? All Kalen, Zedkiel, Incendio and Theth have to do is survive the journey of a lifetime and see that they live long enough fix a realm that Fate gave up on fifty years ago. And Lady Fate is on their side right? .... Right?

In book three, Orlind: War has broken out between the humans of the Seven Realms and the long-lost draykoni race. The Shadow Master. A title from a long forgotten organization that died off years ago. A lost name from a lost age. Centuries passed without such a word passing from a pair of lips, for a title like that only came from an organization as infamous as the Silent Ones, from which the Shadow Master is the rightful leader. A young boy would have soon found out, that such a man of status wears white, as he would learn in one fateful night. In that one night, his entire life will be changed, warped into a path as shadowy and mysterious as the Void itself. Overtime, he will find friends, allies, and a family that took him in, cared for him, loved him, but wound up turning him into a trained hunter of darkness. But a group like the Silent Ones, nothing passes His knowing. He sees all, He hears all, and the boy would soon find out, tethered with Him. And through that, a bond will be formed. A corrupted bond of such kind that lead to destruction and misery, but also happiness and respite, as well as power. Will this farm boy survive the ordeals set before him? Will he survive in the Silent Ones' ranks? And the question most important, will the final scrap of innocence that tethered him to his old life be destroyed as he bonds with the only Lord of Shadowy Death...? Time itself shudders at such possibilities. WARNING- GRAPHIC SCENES AND OBSCENE LANGUAGE ARE SHOWN HERE. Picture is NOT MINE.
