Unable to trust anyone after Merlin's betrayal, Mordred is left to fend on his own. Captured by mysterious knights and brought to their leader, Mordred thinks he will surely be killed but an unexpected twist on things has him carrying out what destiny had always planned.

What this is: A Modern Merlin AU. What this isn't: Just a normal story. What makes this story different from most Modern AUs is that, at heart, it's the same story as the tv show. Each episode is taken from their medieval time and placed into a modern one. Read this, and you'll see the same Merlin and Arthur, but with a modern twist. No, this isn't after Arthur *SPOILERS* dies. This isn't a "Arthur is back from the dead" fic. This is each episode written in a modern setting. Why are you still reading this? Open the story!
