During cleaning out the house of their dead parents, Willow, Rye and Sunny, finds a book. The book, they discover, is a handwritten book, their parents has written. The book is about Peeta and Katniss life, before they were married or had the kids. The kids immediately starts to read the book, and discover different things about their parents, they didn't know before. Follow the past of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, and find out what really happened after the rebellion... Katniss is a teacher at a high school. Together with Peeta Mellark, Annie Cresta and Finnick Odair, the four youngest teachers are put to test by the students and the older teachers. While Katniss is trying to struggle with her own demons she wants nothing more than to help her students the most she can and have a life with the one and only she loves. There's bumps in the road for the four friends, they're not only teachers, they're humans, and they're young. But does that mean they're not good teachers?

Katniss and Peeta try to take the roles as parents. It's not always as easy as it may seem, but they couldn't be more happy. Together with their friends they make it through the days they have with their children. But what happens when the most horrible thing happens? How will Katniss and Peeta cope and what will happen? Are they going to get through it and do what it takes? I guess you all have to read to find out...

Last year Katniss and Peeta won the 74th Hunger Games, meaning that they now will be dragged into being mentors every single year. The 75th Annual Hunger Games is starting, meaning there will be a Quarter Quell. Nova, a girl on 12 and Raze, a boy on 18, is the unlucky ones being reaped, and they get Haymitch, Katniss and Peeta as their mentors. Can these three mentors safe one of the kids? Raze is a quick, strong boy from the mines. He quickly shows himself just as skilled in combat as the Careers. Nova is completely different. She is little and weak, and used most of her time at home dancing, studying or reading. She is a smart girl, who knows how to survive, as long as no one will try to kill her. While the kids are in the Quell fighting for their lives, Katniss and Peeta is spending a lot of time together. Not only do they have the kids in the Quell to look after, but also the wedding. And throughout all this, all the nights of holding each other, will actual love blossom?
