ATTENTION READERS: THIS IS A SAMPLE of the first three chapters of this book. The book is now available in full on Amazon - Fixing You by Roya Carmen. Thank you for all the votes and wonderful feedback. A steamy NA contemporary romance set in Seattle. Librarian Kirsten Beals is bookish, serious, and a little set in her ways. Her neighbor, tech wiz Ethan Fox, is her polar opposite; charming, smooth and playful. And she absolutely cannot stand him. But when Kirsten's long-time boyfriend Logan dumps her cold, Kirsten and Ethan team up to show Logan just exactly what he'll be missing. As Ethan works to sexy-up Kirsten, he comes to see her in a completely new light, and realizes there's more to her than nerdy glasses. And as he teaches her the ways of seduction, Kirsten realizes Ethan also has a secret identity of his own, and might not quite be the arrogant immature womanizer she thought he was. Warning: this is an erotic romance and contains steamy sexual scenes. 18+ If you enjoy, please vote and comment. I would love to hear from you! :)

Abby has always just been identified as stutter girl. Her high school life was a complete disaster, she lived in her sister's shadow the entire time and any chance she had at having a social life was brutally murdered after Scott Rogers mocked her about her stuttering their very first day of freshman year. Scott is the quote on quote 'bad boy' of the school. Or at least that's what everyone else has him pinned as. He may be a huge flirt, but he sure doesn't sleep around. He genuinely only made fun of Abby that first day because he was curious, but then again with Scott his curiosity isn't always what he should lead by. Of course Scott and Abby went their separate ways after Scott got kicked out several weeks after the incident, and Abby was eternally grateful for that. She thought she'd never have to see her bully again since he had been shipped off to private school. But then college came along and with college comes new people...and maybe even a few old ones. What happens when not only are Scott and Abby reunited but they have to share a room? Could it be love? Hate? Follow Scott and Abby as they explore feelings they never thought they'd ever get the chance to experience and maybe even more than that. 9/21/17: #1 in Chicklit

Highest Rank: #1 in Action Cover by: @victori- ========================================================================== "You're quite expensive for a thief." He whispered back. "That's cause I'm the best." I looped my fingers through his belt, pulling him flush against me. "Are you?" "At everything I do." I whispered huskily glancing at his lips with a smile as I brought up my hand up to his view. His leather wallet sat in between my fingers. ========================================================================= "Hey there munchkin, how's the kids?" I asked loudly, propping my chin on my hand with a large smile. He scowled at me which only made my grin widen. "Oh, and don't bother pulling that gun out, basically everyone is watching the big bad wolf, and their phones are on speed dial, just waiting for you to huff and puff." His scowl deepened as he looked around, noticing for the first time everyone watching him. He slowly pulled his hand out of his pocket. "So what can I do for you, Johnny?" I said imitating a gangster boss and leaning back on the chair, resting my hands on my belly. He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. ========================================================================= Avaline Jones is the best thief in the business. There's nothing she can't steal. According to the FBI, she doesn't exist. She's the best at what she does and nothing can stop her, not even the most intricate security in the world. Hayden Knight is the leader of the SilverKnives. Tall and brooding, intense but has the libido of a teenage boy. As sexy as he is ambitious, his current goal is to break into the most secured museum in the world. When these two come across each other, what will they find out?

"Close your eyes." he croaked, I did as I was told without any disobedience. "Have you any idea how badly I want to kiss you right now?" I shook my head in reply. "Badly, so fucking badly." he whispered as his harsh breath fanned across my cheek. Dark haired and tattooed, Xavier looked like the ultimate bad boy...but weren't bad boys meant to have that boyish charm? The thing is, Xavier was extremely guarded, hot headed and quite frankly, scary. In fact, Xavier was many things but romantic and loving wasn't two of them. He was a building half built, a puzzle with half of the pieces missing... Until he met me. Warning: Bad language (lots of). A possessive delinquent that is guaranteed to make you smile (or cry.)

*In major construction. Do not read unless you do not want to read the ending for a very long time until I get things figured out. Thanks!* I was just a hacker. Your average, seventeen-year-old, very sarcastic hacker. Well, average if you thought average meant living with your fried chicken obsessed uncle after your ex-secret agent parents mysteriously disappeared off the face of the Earth. Until that day. A simple business card from an odd boy claiming he needed a hacker for something of the utmost importance. Now? I’m working with the son of the director of the FBI to figure out who wants his father—and possibly us—dead. Not to mention not getting caught and totally not falling for him all while still trying to figure out where my parents are. As I said, nothing good could come of this.

"I'm not okay!" I yelled at him. "Okay?! I'm not okay." My chest rose up and down as I breathed heavily. It had been years since I had a break down, and I wasn't going to have one right now. "It's okay not to be okay," he whispered, walking closer to me. He caressed my cheek, trying to sooth me. I stared at him, pain filled my eyes. I was trying hard not to cry. I couldn't cry. That's not what I did. "It's okay to cry," he comforted. His eyes stared so hard into mine I felt like he was seeing into my soul. "Crying shows weakness, and I'm not weak," I told him, swallowing hard. "Sometimes crying is the strongest thing you can do. It just shows everyone else that you're just as human as they are." And right then and there I started sobbing. I had lost all control of my emotions, I cried like I hadn't since I was little. All those times I didn't cry when I wanted to poured out now. The walls I spent so long building to make them unbreakable, broke. Alana finds a thick orange envelope in her mailbox one day. No return address, no stamp or postage mark and it's not even addressed to her. Someone had just dropped the letter off in her mailbox. The only thing written on this envelope is "You might need this... or not." Alana takes it inside and begins to read the life story of a complete stranger. The life story of someone trying to find their place in this big scary world. © Somethingtrue 2013. All rights reserved.
