I'm 21 years old, fresh into adulthood. Though I've just turned 21 doesn't mean a damn thing. I've been living in a grown folks world since I was around 12 years old. Out here making a living for me. What can I say? I'm just a Thuggish Cinderella.

As a child you wouldn't believe the shit Lovely had been threw. All that crazy shit made her the bad bitch she was today. Lovely had looks, body, brains, and backbone. Don't judge a book by its cover. Don't let the pretty face and soft voice fool you. Lovely could be as deadily as one of the big dopeboys flossin in her hood. What happens when she riding shot gun next to one of them big dopeboys and is falling in love with NO GOOD? Thats where King came in. When the two met it was hood fairytale. Sparks flew. But when Lovely discovered Kings life will she wish she never had met him? Or use him to her advantage? Payback is a bitch. Don't fall in love with NO GOOD. But expect it all to be good in the hood. With the 9mm. in hand. Lovely sure ain't playin' !! I wish I never met you boy. And its killing me to know I just can't have you in my world. Though Billy may be dead. And Lyric may now be a mother doesn't mean life on the streets has changed. Nothing's changed at all. People are still out to get Lyric and her loved ones. People are still going to be jealous. People are still going to act the way living in the hood has taught them to be like. But how far are they willing to go? Stay tuned to find out who comes back to live in the present when everyone thought they would forever be in the past.

I'm not that great at summarizing stories, but don't let that stop you from reading. WARNING...WARNING...WARNING... There's a lot of sexual scenes (very detailed) and cursing, so PARENTAL DISCRETION is strongly recommended throughout the entire story. Life on the streets is always survivor of the fittest. So when 22 year old Lyric starts to get involved with Billy, the biggest drug lord on the east coast, she thinks she has the perfect life. But being with Billy, Lyric learns that more enemies than either of them can keep count of is also part of the package. Will Lyric be willing to go to hell and back just to prove that hood love does exist? Or will thugs and hood love be defeated again? Stay tuned, but let the record be known that there's never a happily-ever-after in the hood, and not in this story either. There's only the constant thought of survival...
