Orphaned at a young age, Eren's forced into the foster system, and after being shuffled around for several years, things in life finally seem to calm down. But life has never been kind, and the peace doesn't last long. After months of abuse and neglect, he's pushed back into a foster home where he'll meet a dark-haired musician who seemingly wants nothing to do with him.

Pastel!Eren and Punk!Levi have been paired up for a school project in order to raise money for the local homeless shelter. They meet up a few times in the library to complete the homework and research that was set, and this time Levi goes round Eren's to create the finishing touches for their fundraising idea.

He's just a boy decorated in baggy sweaters, scars, bruises, and secrets hidden by patches. Ichiru is just a boy that wanted nothing more than to omit the taste of his own uselessness from his brain. Ichiru is just a boy that will change everything for another person named Klevi Ogamie, the boy that triggered the change even with his own nightmarish memories of his murdered younger brother and father. Here, we find the beginning to an old life colliding with another's to create two new people. Here, we learn that even the most beautiful of flowers can die with the most inevitable, and dreaded, stroke of tragedy.
