Corie Blake was dropped off at Eichen House at the mere age of ten with nothing but her favorite stuffed animal and a letter about what was wrong with her. Her parents had given up on her long before that, but they had finally developed the courage to get rid of their daughter for good. However, Corie wasn't surprised by their plans, she was already waiting by the car ready to go when they came to tell her they were going for a ride. She knew of their real plans. Seven years later, Corie has become a lone ranger at the Eichen House, never really making friends in the insane asylum.
