Avery Hills is not your ordinary seventeen year-old girl. Avery has been locked up in her house since the minute she returned from the hospital after being born. Sounds kind of like Rapunzel right? A girl being trapped somewhere since her birth with little to no hopes of freedom? Not really actually. Instead of being asked to let her long hair down in order to get free, Avery got her freedom the old fashioned way, she fought for it. She argued, pestered, and yelled her way out of her horrible 'castle' and out into the real world. But very soon she realizes that 'out into the real world' isn't as great as she thought it would be. Now Avery has to try to live a life like all the other teenagers, after seventeen years of no human contact other than her beloved tutor and parents. She struggles a lot with understanding friendship, love, and who to trust and not, and just when she thinks about giving up, she runs into Luke White. Luke White is exciting and intriguing to Avery, and he makes her feel things she can't even explain. He helps her fit in, and even introduces her to his friend, Nate Oak who she later dates. Luke makes Avery complete, and Avery makes Luke complete, but in a different way... Luke finally realizes his true feelings, and becomes angry, sad, and bitter. He quickly gets revenge on Avery, for making him feel this way. Will Luke's revenge be enough to send Avery off the edge, and back to her old life? (Awesome cover made by @emblyn_rose)

And the queen's antique silver mirror contained not just her reflection, but a girl. Mirror can no longer remember her name - or life - before the queen imprisoned her. All day, every day, she finds herself at the queen's beck and call; a life of endless servitude and isolation. Snowdon is approaching his 18th birthday and is an increasing threat to the queen's right to rule. And his looks are putting him in the running for her 'fairest' title too. So the queen decides the quickest way to solve all her problems is to get rid of Snowdon. Permanently. But the girl watching their every move has other ideas.

I was never meant to leave that room. I had spent my whole life in there, imagining what it was like on the outside. I looked forward to the day when I would finally be allowed to leave. But that day was never supposed to come. Until James decided to keep his promise. He had always been there, on the other side of the glass. Waiting. The experiment wasn't over. He was still waiting for me to change. But I didn't change. Not until that night. It was dark, and there was rain. The sound of the car engine was loud, but the crash was louder. In the crash, I became something different. I changed. But not for James. This new part of me emerged for one reason; to save her. This story is a first draft and will contain typos and grammatical errors. I apologize for these in advance, and hope you can see beyond them to the story beneath. Happy reading!
